Can you see it at computer management|disk management. If you can see there you drive is ok but if you not see any thing must be something with installation or drive is broke.

Just check the installation and if problem still persist just send to warranty. Nothing can be done.

If its really hard to recover. YOu can install it again. If its have same problem. You can go and ask at the place or shop you buy that HDD before. Its still under warranty right?

If this is a new hew disk, i rather go back to the shop. Since is new and under warranty, i will definitely ask for another new one. Hard disk is a importance part in a CPU. Your system won't run smooth without a stable hard disk.

Yes. HDD are important thing at your CPU. If you not have one, i don't think you can run your PC like always right? If you buy a problem HDD, just go and change it with better one. Its still fine if you just buy it.

make sure that you have connected it properly and look whether Windows is detecting it. Alternatively go and exchange it.

better try contacting your local dealer from where you have purchased that hard disk..as you have got a newer one so ideally there should be no such problem..but since you are having that..it means may be you got a defective piece..!!so whatever may be the case try contacting your dealer..

If that HDD still have warranty just change it new one. Should be no problem. Maybe you can try it at dealer site first before come back.
