WEll you do need a valid Wifi Zone where wifi net is available.. then you need to buy a username n password. . So do check whether you have fulfilled all those requirements !!

I use it almost every from my mobile phone. My laptop is Wifi supported.
All you need is subscribe the service with your local mobile service provider and they will assign you a username and password. You need to have a so-called Hotspot Zone in order for surfing the internet.

If like to can test your is working by check device properties or any application for wifi. If they say you is working properly so next step go to any area had free hotspot and try to connect. If success good luck. If not might check again your card.

Wifi is always unsecured, as it takes a lot to setup the router. Especially if you have a router which has basic configuration and it not in the secured zone then there are always chances of someone else accessing your machine your data and you would be at risk so have to be carefull..always create the connection as a secured one and the save the username and password....
