Actually the problem started today that whenver i insert the CD it spins for a while and then stops. But in another PC it reads safely. PLZ suggest is the Drive gone dead or what? Plz help me out.

it sounds to me like the drive is dieing or the lens may be dirty. You can try cleaning it but since cd and dvd drivers are so inexpensive i would suggest replacing it.

Replace the Cd-rom , its time is over , no need to clean it and shit , get a new 1 , DVD writer costs only 1300 rs in INDIA . U can buy 1 and chuk this drive out.
